Notre Dame Basketball Tickets And Seating Chart

The recent game against Cincinnati was a challenging one, to say the least. In the end, Notre Dame gave a good fight but took home a loss against Cincinnati, 60-58. Six times there were ties in the second half and 11 lead changes but it just wasn’t enough. Subsequently, Notre Dame loss in a battle of basketball wits against Syracuse on January 18, 71-84. These two losses are by no means a testament of the power and prowess that the Notre Dame men’s basketball team represents. The 2009-2010 season has provided the team with the majority of games being played on their own court, which may have something to do with the advantage.

From the starting game in November versus Lewis to the November 24 game against Kennesaw State, Notre Dame demolished every competitor that came into their house. During the Chicago Invitational Challenge, Notre Dame lost one game against Northwestern before resuming a winning streak where they won an additional four games. The trend

Stephen Hill Tops Receiver Depth Chart With 1 Start In 13 Career Games

Following any mistakes in spring practice, Hill has continued his routine of dropping on the ground for five quick push-ups.
Thomas was one of four Yellow Jacket juniors to apply for early entry to the NFL draft, so Hill now tops the team’s depth chart at receiver. But the 6-foot-4 lanky sophomore knows he can’t take anything for granted with just one start in 13 career games.”If I screw up or have a missed assignment, that’s just the way it’s going to be out here for me,” Hill said this week. “I had to get those push-ups in because I should know better.”
Coming off an Atlantic Coast Conference championship and a No. 13 final ranking, the Yellow Jackets’ must replace Thomas, running back Jonathan Dwyer and three starters on the offensive line. Three returning starters were missing Wednesday, too.
Josh Nesbitt, the ACC’s No. 2 career leader in rushing yards by a quarterback, is inactive this spring after undergoing ankle surgery. Tevin

Ingram favored to win second Heisman

The 2010 College Football season starts in just over a month, so we might as well get a head start on handicapping who will take home college football’s most prestigious individual award. Numerous online sportsbooks unleashed odds on the 2010 Heisman Trophy last week and to little surprise Alabama running back Mark Ingram is the +350 betting favorite to have his name called out by the Downtown Athletic Club in early December.

Surprisingly, Ingram is the first Heisman Trophy winner in the proud history of Alabama Crimson Tide. However, for those that bet on the Heisman, there is something to consider before backing the favored Ingram this year. No one has won the Heisman in back-to-back years since Archie Griffin, way back in 1974 and 1975. The last two winners prior to Ingram, Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford, both had legit shots at winning a second consecutive Heisman, but came up short.

Using the Heisman betting odds, let’s take a look

4 Ingredients of the Duke Blue Devils Basketball Success

Since hitting the court for the first time, the Duke Blue Devils have been major contenders in the world of NCAA basketball. Certain components have made them winners.

Since 1906, the Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team has mastered the art of slam-dunking the competition. In fact, only three other schools have earned a higher winning percentage: Kansas, North Carolina, and Kentucky. Other teams occasionally feature a star player or earn a spot in the NCAA tournament’s Final Four. However, the Blue Devils have consistently produced quality teams. Here are some of the keys to their success:

1. Coach Mike Krzyzewski

Since the 1980-1981 season, Krzyzewski has served as the general of Duke’s men’s basketball team. The numbers speak for themselves. His accomplishments at Duke include:

• 3 National Championships (1991, 1992, 2001)
• 10 Final Fours
• 23 NCAA Tournament Births Read more..

MARCH MADNESS-You Can Bet on It

March 17th is, of course, the day when everyone is Irish, and it’s also the mid-point between the NCAA Tournament’s first and second rounds (March 16-19, 2006). It is a crazy time of year all-around and college basketball embraces this insanity whole-heartedly. If you’re planning on wagering on March Madness-the biggest sporting event of the month and one of the most heavily bet events each year-you may want to consider a few important facts when choosing your brackets or making a team-on-team wager.

March Madness features 65 teams from some of the best known and also from some of the lesser-known college hoop conferences. Certainly you’ll see teams from the prestigious Atlantic Coast, Big East, PAC-10, SEC, Big 12 and Big 10, and you’ll also find various other conferences

Sports betting experts and analysts all agree that the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) is the toughest and most talented in the south east, only behind the SEC. In particular, the Atlantic division has always featured the cream of the crop in NCAA college football.

There are a lot great teams in the ACC, but the betting pick (10-2) are the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Led by Jim Grobe, plus a host of other returning key players, not only are the Deacons poised to win the Atlantic but might go through it all undefeated.

Picked for second (9-3) are the Clemson Tigers. Led by the trio of James Davis, C.J. Spiller and Cullen Harper, the Tigers boast what may be the best offense in the league.
